============================================

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2) Twrp Recovery.img >> Link: https://mega.nz/#!3komwKgB!lCLUWQz95wZyH8LfyWj63cCGPJXHfQW2A15CkSlssX0

How to:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Unlock bootloader, type this command into cmd:    fastboot oem unlock

2. Put Twrp recovery.img into adb & fastboot folder, type in:   fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

3. Then, access directly into TWRP recovery, type in:  fastboot boot recovery.img

4. Now locates your superSU.zip then install as usual.

    Done!
    Good Luck
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ps- Remember the TWRP has bug, ENTER recovery mode, TWRP will be untouch screen.
-So, in order to access TWRP, need via fastboot boot recovery.img
-Use, Root Essential or Flashify to directly flash a zip file.

After flashing TWRP recovery.img ; you need to go to TWRP MENU> WIPE> format data_type in YES
~ now you storage can be read by the TWRP...
~ connect you cable into your PC/laptop and transfer SUPERSU.zip (if you did put copy supersu.zip into external sdcard then flash it directly)

ps: in case you don't know. (but i believed you all knowing this) Have fun guys.

Bluboo s8 plus_s8a_v27_20180314:
~Boot.img is new and the kernel size different. so, TWRP cannot be flash via adb if (using previous kernel)
~I found out, after unpack and repack boot.img ( dumped via spflashtool) changed the kernel into TWRP recovery v3.1.0 and flash via ADB. Result it works as usual. :)
~But as i mentioned, TWRP has bug on touches, enter recovery mode. so use ADB & fastboot to enter TWRP recovery :)

  • 1 month later...

I'm having this same phone bluboo s8a with build number bluboo_s8a_v27_20180314. I was installing custom ROM with sp tools and bricked it. it doesn't power on as I installed different ROM. Do you please have a stock ROM for this particular model?

thank you?

**This is my advise to install custom rom ie: from needrom.com for BLUBOO S8 PLUS _V27.20180314,

1- More safer to using TWRP recovery to proceed installation over spflashtool method.

2- Please do change boot kernel first for any custom rom and repack again before proceed to install them.
(one of the reason you ended up failed to boot, bootloop or blank screen).

3-  Yes, you may proceed to install custom rom designed for s8/s8plus with img format.

4- Please do make backup for Boot.img | System.img | >> or more img files but this enough to revived the phone if failed on flashing custom rom.
